Imagine having music in every room of your home with nothing more than a wall mounted kepad and virtually invisible in-wall or in-ceiling speakers required in each room. This is the dream system of many and is typically only found in really expensive homes. Let us show you a reasonably priced solution using your existing equipment.

Whole house audio / video systems are a centralised audio / video system that provides music and video / cable signals throughout the home. When using a centralised system, the only components required to be in each room are speakers and TV screens. The system is effortlessly controlled through a handheld remote or wall mounted control panels.

The centralised components can either be hidden away in a cupboard, or if you prefer, proudly on show in your chosen room.

At CHTI we quite often spec "Speakercraft" distribution systems, the Speakercraft MZC is the backbone of your system. It is the central hub that does all the heavy lifting and is where your source components and individuals zones will be connected.

The MZC 66 and 88 are loaded with technical advancements that make the system both dynamic and flexible. With 12 or 16 channels of digital amplification, depending on the model, a single unit can power up to eight stereo zones or areas of the home with no need for additional amplifiers.

Speakercraft MZC-66

The SpeakerCraft MZC-66 System consists of four subsystems. First, the keypads themselves may be configured in many key icon arrangements and placed in one, two, or three gangs to meet virtually any client requirement. They are connected via convenient Cat. 5 cable with home run lengths of up to 1000’ (305m or longer, if heavier gauge wire is used) to the centrally located MZC-66 Multi-Zone A/V Amplifier Controller located near the controlled equipment. The MZC-66 contains the “brains” of the system, taking key location data from the keypads to trigger the actual controlling IR, RS232 and RS485 commands that are passed to all of the installed system components.
